Super Scientists!

Date: 14th Apr 2016 @ 11:07am

There was a real buzz around school during science week.

All the children were engaged in exploring the life of the astronaut Tim Peake who is under-taking a six-month mission on the International Space Station (ISS). The children found out lots of fascinating facts about how living in space affects your body and even tasted astronaut food!

It was great to see the children working scientifically as they made observations, asked and answered questions, tested their ideas and followed scientific lines of enquiry. They learned a lot while engaging in tasks such as designing and making their own space station, observing the effects of exercise on the body, on earth and in space, and building and launching their own rocket.

Thanks to Mr Aspinall for organising science week!
