Chester Trip

Wow, what an amazing day our year 4 children had in Chester today! The children have really enjoyed the day, with many of them not able to pick their favourite part. They have been an absolute credit to the school, so thank you and well done.

We have been archaeologists and legionaires, as well as researching the artefacts within the museum's galleries to help us with our topic. We had a 'hands-on' archaeological experience, handling both genuine and replica Roman objects in a workshop led by an expert at the Chester Grovesnor Museum, as well as looking at the resources in the cases downstairs. We also have been practising marching, following a Roman soldier into the amphitheatre.

The pictures attached will provide a little more information about the day, but until the children have completed their writing about the visit, we won't include much more information here at the moment. Remember to keep checking back in case we add more details, pictures or videos...!
