Sports week events

Almost 100 pupils have taken part in twelve events in eleven sports over the last three weeks. Last week was superb, well done to all the children who took part and the staff who accompanied them.

After a wet start which saw the first event; Year 5 and 6 tag Rugby, cancelled the rest of the week went according to plan...

Events we took part in during sports week included:

Tri-golf, Dodgeball, Try-it Challenge, Total Sports, Water Polo, Football and football again, multiskills and tag rugby (y3/4). We also took part in orienteering the week before, mini-tennis was postponed until this week and we finish  our sports competitions with Year 3/4 Quadkids on Friday. It's not that long since we also played in the Kwik cricket tournaments too.

The events are organised as part of our membership of the Vale Royal School Sports Partnership and we certainly couldn't access as many sports without this.

We had some successes to celebrate, with our girls orienteering team coming second despite the torrential downpour and our Year3/4 footballers reaching the semi-finals in a hot and hard fought contest. Keira and Charlie also both gained medals for the determination value in their events. Well done to these children especially.
