Our trip to Liverpool Maritime Museum

Lesson: Geography

Year 4 had a fantastic visit to the Liverpool Maritime Museum on Tuesday. We found out lots of interesting facts about how important the River Mersey has been to Liverpool. In Mulberry, we had a workshop with Dave first, and later we got to explore the museum. After lunch we tried hard not to be blown over by the wind as we looked out to the River Mersey, and saw the Wirral on the other side.

Look out for the children in each of the pictures, and ask them what they were doing in each one. We have started our recounts about the visit, and will share some of our pieces of writing on here once they are finished. We were all superstars, as always and made our teachers very proud.
