Happy New Year and Golden Postbox!
Date: 8th Jan 2015 @ 5:54pm
On behalf of all the staff and Governors at Willow Wood Community Primary School, I would like to let you know how much we are all looking forward to working with our children and their families this year!
We have made a super start to the New Year! The spring term is all about LEARNING, LEARNING, LEARNING! Children have settled down into their classes and now is the time for good effort and hard work so that they can make good progress.
Each child and adult in school has posted a letter to themselves into the, ‘Golden Postbox’. This letter contains a target – something the person wants to improve on or be better at by the end of term.
We will plan a special day, towards the end of term, when we open the envelope and celebrate our achievements!
Parents and carers please support your children to do their best by coming to school, ready for learning, every day they are well and helping them with their learning challenges at home such as reading every day, learning times tables and spellings!
Your support and interest in your child’s education really does make a difference!
Thank you!
