Welcome to Year 5!

Myself (Miss Bell) and Mrs James are delighted to be working with Year 5 this year!

Important information:

Swimming days for Autumn 1- Tuesdays and Wednesdays

PE Days (After Swimming has finished)- Tuesdays and Fridays

Homework

Home Learning for Year 5 will be Maths focused this term. Homework will be sent out on Tuesdays and due back in the following Monday. Please let us know if you and your child require any additional support with this!

We expect pupils to be reading regularly at home and reading diaries have now been sent home. 4 times a week is a good target to support your child with their reading development, which will have a positive impact on their whole learning experience in school and beyond. 

Spelling tests will be every Friday. Your children will complete spelling practice in school but it is useful to expand this learning at home to support.
