Open Morning

It was great to welcome visitors to our school this week.

School Councillors, Governors and staff escorted groups of visitors into each learning area – indoor and outdoor. Everywhere we went we saw groups of children and teachers actively engaged in interesting learning activities. I particularly like to see how the learning journey across Willow Wood changes as the children grow and develop through the years.

We received some very positive feedback. Our visitors were especially impressed with the relationships between children and children and children and adults. They also commented on the bright, airy classrooms, attractive displays, the outdoor learning environment and the brilliant behaviour of the children. School is so calm that it is hard to imagine that there are over 250 children in it!

The School Councillors felt very proud to be representing our school and I was very proud of them. Well done to everyone.
