Diversity Dish Up Day

To celebrate the end of our ‘Diversity’ topic we held a whole school world café extravaganza!  Pupils spent the morning setting up their classrooms to reflect the country that they have been learning so much about within our creative curriculum. They  created items such as menus, flags, music and prepared the ingredients for a dish that originates from their country. In the afternoon the pupils enjoyed the opportunity to visit two world cafes within school to experience those countries to deepen their knowledge and understanding of their culture. Children and staff really enjoyed this 'Wow' and diverse conclusion to a summer term of learning!
