Liverpool Museum Trip

Year 5 had a fantastic visit to Liverpool Museum and as usual were an absolute credit to Willow Wood!

We had the chance to explore the museum where we saw many different exhibits. We saw a range of amazing sea creatures in the aquarium, we learnt all about how the human eye works, we learnt about different world cultures, we saw some very creepy bugs including two rare tarantulas and we got to explore items from space! 

We also had the chance to learn all about Ancient Egypt, in this workshop we learnt all about how Egypt came about, the gods, the pharoahs and many other brilliant facts! We also were extremely lucky to be able to handle real egyptian artefacts, which had been found in a tomb, including putting our hands inside a real canopic jar!

A fantastic day was had by all!
