The Winsford Town Mayor's 'Oscar' Award Ceremony

Sophie and Rylee represented Willow Wood Change 4 Life project when they attended the Oscar's Ceremony on Friday April 22nd. Our C4L team have received recognition for their work already, having had an article about them printed in the Winsford Guardian and were commented on for their hard work and commitment during our last Ofsted visit. Many thanks to Mrs Ridgeway, who coordinates the project in school.

We had been nominated in the category of School Project of the Year. In the final three we faced strong competition from other projects: Incredible Edibles and the Democracy Project run by the Winsford Education Partnership, which involved all 13 Winsford schools.  

We were delighted with our award which we might just share with everyone else in assembly!
