We made Christmas cakes

Over the past week we have getting in to the festive spirit and have been making lots of different christmassy things! Decorations, cards, and Christmas cakes!!

Here are our Christmas cakes!

First we put the ingredients in a bowl.

We had to use a child safety knife to chop the cherries.

Then once they had been cooked and cooled down we decorated them,

We rolled out the marzipan and used some warm jam to stick the marzipan to the cake then we did the same thing with the icing.

Mrs Smith and Mrs Ridgway think they look fantastic!
